What you would be doing

Help implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with nuclear regulations (e.g., NRC, IAEA
Prepare technical reports and documentation for operational and safety audits.
Participate in testing and commissioning of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), and DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
To deliver the projects to Time, Cost and Quality requirements.
Monitor system performance and assist in troubleshooting faults or inefficiencies.
Production of deliverables such as design definition and substantiation documents, detailed equipment specifications, pipe material specifications, system performance test specifications.
Work with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, control system and instrumentation engineers.
Analyze data from control systems to identify trends or anomalies.
Support equipment layout planning and process simulations.
Support the development of reactor cooling systems, and radiation shielding components.
Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and nuclear engineers to ensure integrated system performance.
Design by rule-based calculations including calculation of structural thickness etc.
Support development of instrumentation for monitoring temperature, pressure, radiation, and flow rates.
Development of finite element models from the drawings and engineering judgement on element selection for the built FE models.
Building /Plant systems design and analysis through Finite Element Modelling.
Assist in designing and implementing control systems for nuclear reactors and auxiliary systems.
Help install and calibrate sensors, transmitters, and control devices.
Assist in designing and optimizing processes for nuclear plant and balance of plant systems, fuel handling, reactor operations, and waste treatment.
Prepare technical reports and operational instructions for nuclear systems and fuel handling.
