Procurement Manager

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager – Procurement to lead our procurement function and drive value across our supply chain. This role is pivotal in ensuring cost-effective purchasing, supplier relationship management, and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.This role will be based at our Brisbane office.

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Managing supplier performance, risk, and compliance.
• Monitoring market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and deliver solutions.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing procurement team.
• Ensuring procurement activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Leading sourcing initiatives and negotiating contracts to achieve optimal value.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g. SAP).
• Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
