Work closely with other Department Heads in the business to ensure synergy.
Development of Civil/ Structural engineering tools and processes that ensure designs are robust and outputs in line with scope.
Wholly accountable for the quality of Civil/ Structural engineering output, and on-time delivery in accordance with project requirements.
Support Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Bids with information and guidance.
Promote Civil/ Structural/ equipment standardisation and re-use.
Ensure all Civil/ Structural designs are code compliant, meet specification, safe in design, and consider lifecycle requirements.
Line management responsibilities and duties across multiple sites; responsible for departmental performance and setting objectives to meet business and individual goals.

BEng (Hons) in Engineering (preferably Civil or Structural)
Strong experience in a Civil/ Structural engineering field.
Chartered Engineer (CEng, preferably ICE or IStructE)
Knowledge of the construction & process industries and applicable standards.
Ability to interpret Site Investigation reports and identify civil implications.
Ability to use structural analytical software unaided (STAAD Pro or TEKLA Structures preferred).
