The Senior Manager, Consumer Insights will guide the voice of the consumer for the Water Business Unit, developing insight strategies across product development, brand positioning and customer experience, and turning data into compelling stories that shape business decisions. The role collaborates closely with Brand, Product, Innovation, Design and Strategy teams and manages one direct report while working with internal and external partners.
- Develop and execute consumer insights agenda aligned with innovation, brand, and CX strategies
- Translate consumer and market data into clear, compelling narratives that guide product development, brand positioning, and customer experience decisions
- Manage a portfolio of research projects, balancing deep studies with agile initiatives using traditional and emerging methodologies
- Partner with Product, Brand, Strategy, Design, and Innovation teams to embed insights throughout development cycles
- Deliver integrated category reviews with Marketing Analytics & Insights, synthesizing primary, secondary, and syndicated data
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research, applying advanced analytics to uncover needs, motivations, and whitespace opportunities
- Pilot and scale AI‑driven and synthetic data tools to accelerate insight generation while ensuring data integrity
- Oversee external research partners to guarantee best‑in‑class methodologies and execution
- Build a consumer‑centric culture by storytelling and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders
- Coach and develop one direct report, enhancing research, business acumen, and communication skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Social Sciences, Business or related field
- 8+ years experience in consumer insights, market research, or brand strategy for consumer products or design‑led industries
- Proven track record using insights to shape product innovation, brand strategy, and CX, including journey mapping
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Proficiency with DIY research platforms such as Suzy, Zappi, Qualtrics
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable stories for diverse audiences
- Strong collaborator with cross‑functional teams (Brand, Product, Innovation, Design)
- Experience managing and developing direct reports
- Preferred: Advanced degree (MBA, MA/MS) in related discipline
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI‑enabled research, synthetic data tools, and advanced analytics
