The Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports the preparation, timely submission, and tracking of routine regulatory reports required by agencies overseeing Pattern’s regulated assets and affiliates. The role also proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes, data accuracy, and operational efficiency, and prepares reports and presentation materials for internal and external partners.
In regulatory reporting support, the analyst prepares, submits, and tracks reports for agencies such as DOE, EIA, FERC, ISO/RTOs, and PUCs, while maintaining filing calendars, documentation, and internal tracking tools to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Continuous improvement of reporting processes and data quality is a key focus.
For FERC Standards of Conduct (SOC) support, the analyst maintains and updates SOC resources, including documentation and organizational charts, coordinates SOC training completion across Pattern teams, and assists with tracking updates for Marketing Function Employees and Transmission Function Employees to ensure ongoing compliance.
Administrative support includes managing documents, internal communications, compliance records, shared folders, and other operational tasks for the Regulatory Compliance team.
Regulatory compliance project support involves providing project management assistance to ensure initiatives are executed accurately and on schedule, coordinating activities across internal and external stakeholders, and tracking follow‑up actions associated with regulatory obligations.
Special initiatives and process development include supporting digital certificate transitions, EQR refiling projects, regulatory registrations, and ad‑hoc compliance efforts, as well as developing manuals, procedures, and reference materials and conducting research on emerging regulatory obligations.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as engineering, economics, finance, or computer science and have at least three years of experience in a corporate or professional office environment. Required skills include advanced organization, prioritization, multitasking, attention to detail, research, writing, and strong oral and written communication.
