Excellent working knowledge of power markets, energy policy framework and technical regulations.
Technical expertise in providing regulatory/markets advisory to utilities and regulators and/or technical advisory services to developers/owners/investors of renewable and storage projects.
Familiarity with power regulation frameworks and power market design topics.
Significant experience in lead generation and business development, with a strong track record establishing lasting relationships with private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities across Australia.
Successful track record in project management and leading teams.
Hands-on experience with grid connections advisory (e.g. to developers and/or system operators). Experience with transmission modelling software such as PSS/E or Digsilent would be an asset.
Native or professional-level competence in English.
Experience and expertise with financial and/or economic analysis of renewable power and/or hydrogen projects.
International experience in power sector consultancy – demonstrable experience outside of as well as within Australia would be an asset.
Understanding of the complete energy ecosystem from generation, transmission, distribution and associated infrastructure with the ability to help conceptualise overall solution for prospective clients.
University and master’s degree in energy economics / economic regulation, electrical or mechanical engineering, or similar.
Significant experience working for private sector customers in the renewable and storage industry and with power utilities in Australia.
