Will also serve as a consultant to waste, and organics construction management projects as needed.
Work on a wide variety of contaminated material, MSW and organics related projects including but not limited to compost facilities, transfer stations, material recovery facilities, household hazardous waste facilities, and organics facilities.
Participate in meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to resolve technical issues.
Implement QA/QC procedures.
Work independently on technical tasks involving data analysis, interpreting results, and preparing technical reports, plans and specifications.
Develop Phase I ESA, Phase II ESA and compliance monitoring reports.
Work with a team of staff engineers in preparation of design deliverables including strategic planning, engineering design reports, construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates and construction schedules with support from HDR’s national practice leads.
Perform assignments through the entire project development cycle to complete deliverables on schedule and budget.
Assist Waste Project Managers and Engineers with planning and monitoring all aspects of multidiscipline projects or mediumsized projects with high degree of technical complexity, typically involving a large project team.
Report of Composting Site Information (RCSI), Transfer Processing Report (TPR), InVessel Digestion Report (IVDR) to effectively manage compliance, maintenance, and safety.
Develop solid waste facility operational permitting report documents (Report of Facility Information (RFI)
Maintain client relations and be involved in business development (in partnership with the Solid Waste Business Development Lead), marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.

Must be detailoriented and a team player with great communication, technical writing, analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
A selfmotivator with developing leadership and Project Management skills.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
Hazwoper 40hour training
Demonstrated understanding of client relationship management and evidence of experience interacting directly with clients highly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' experience with multidiscipline facility, civil site engineering, or related project work preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.), AutoCAD and GIS experience
