The Community Maintenance Associate role is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance of a stabilized garden‑style community of 336 units, ensuring grounds, amenities, and curb appeal meet Greystar standards. The position works Monday through Friday and supports the service team in daily operations.
- Inspect community daily to remove litter, debris, pet droppings; maintain neat common areas and amenities.
- Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer to dumpster or storage, and clean/maintain storage areas.
- Complete minor routine service requests and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turnover process.
- Change all locks per policy and ensure pool gates comply with codes and safety standards.
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
- Report observed hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors.
- Provide respectful customer service, answer resident questions, and address maintenance complaints.
- Follow safety and risk‑management policies: attend safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report accidents promptly.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.

The job requires standing, walking, climbing ladders, and handling objects up to 25 lb independently (or 50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions. Employees must be flexible to take call‑out shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays and may travel occasionally to other properties or training sessions.
Benefits
Hourly compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, with eligibility for performance‑based bonuses that differ for corporate and onsite roles.
