What you would be doing

  • Communicate roadblocks to appropriate stakeholders to ensure operations do not miss deadlines
  • Build relationships with vendors for locating parts quickly and ensure best pricing.
  • Track deliveries and update customer with status.
  • Coordinate with the dispatch team to schedule the work to be completed for customers.
  • Receive information from our field technicians and use the information to create repair and installation proposals for customers.
  • Communicate with Warehouse Manager on scheduled delivery of parts and also confirm the parts in each shipment were successfully received.
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails to coordinate work across departments, customers, and vendors
  • Follow up and track proposals to ensure acceptance from customers.
  • Locate parts, material, and equipment from our vendors to meet project needs.

  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, lift 25 lbs. max, stand and stoop, kneel, or crouch, and climb stairs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Candidates with strong skills in these programs are greatly valued: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical Services, HVAC and/or Plumbing industry
  • 5+ years’ experience in account management or purchasing
  • Proven success in collaborating across departments to meet business objectives
  • Previous experience working in Microsoft Great Plains (aka Microsoft GP and Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Expected to work in a moderately loud level of volume environment.
  • Excels in building relationships
  • Strong communicator
  • Regularly requires a high degree of mental effort, talk and hear, gross and fine manipulation, read both print and screens for extended periods of time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Frequently required to walk and sit
