Lead Cost Improvement activities throughout assigned work areas.
Maintain good working relations, coordinate/ integrate with shop personnel, write reports.
Edit existing Standard Work procedures as improvements in productivity, quality, and safety are made.
Ensure operator/technician measures all dimensions in question and produces the appropriate report.
Support Manufacturing Engineering to identify the correct "Task Template" for product families to streamline the selection of Task Templates for all future work.
Support the development of maintenance parts lists for assets. Ensure parts lists are entered into ERP / Task Templates.
Review part and part prints in question for completeness – use of online systems required. Training on OII online systems to be provided.
Support Manufacturing Engineering to create future state "Task Templates" based on acceptable Standard Work practices.
Review parts in question using handheld measuring tools to determine if additional inspection is necessary.
Interface with Engineering to resolve engineering issues:
Assist with implementation of lean manufacturing principles across assigned work areas including 6S, Standard Work, MDI/QDIP boards, Visual management, Value stream mapping, benchmarking, Total Preventative Maintenance, Work cell design, inventory flow, and other Operational Excellence objectives.
Share improvements with sites worldwide to ensure productivity, quality, and safety is promoted to all locations.
Coordinate with Engineering for approval to change parts.
Support the identification and creation of maintenance kits and repair kits for assets
Resolve issues with incomplete engineering documentation - missing parts on BOMs, wrong parts on BOMs, inaccurate / incomplete assembly drawings
Create and maintain metrics as needed
Review ECR, ECO, NCR, B.O.M, drawings to ensure design for manufacturability
Ensure all changes are documented properly and training is conducted.
Demonstrate and teach company policies on operating standards, safety, maintenance, quality, and cost control.
Support Manufacturing to identify the correct "Task Template."
Create and modify manufacturing routings.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in similar role.

Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical. Or Engineering Degree/Diploma Equivalent.
Ability to establish and maintain project priorities.

Knowledge of appropriate steps to analytical problem solving.

Familiarity with OPG and/or SSR equipment
