The Senior Finance Manager role leads a dynamic team and partners with property managers to deliver exceptional financial services for a diverse portfolio of Australian assets, operating from JLL’s corporate office in Sydney CBD. This position oversees property accounting and drives both team performance and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of 3‑4 Portfolio Accountants.
- Produce month‑end financial reports for property portfolios.
- Process and approve journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and IFRS rent‑smoothing journals.
- Perform annual tenant recovery reconciliations and support budgeting/forecasting.
- Serve as finance business partner to property managers, ensuring Trust Accounting compliance.
- Coordinate with client finance teams, support audits and prepare semi‑annual internal audit checklists.
- Integrate new properties into portfolios and manage property cessations.
- Drive efficiencies through monthly finance training and cross‑learning initiatives.
- Work in premium offices at Australia’s leading commercial real estate firm.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance or related field.
- Possess CA/CPA qualification.
- Bring ≥5 years experience in commercial real estate finance.
- Experience with MRI or similar asset‑management software (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience leading and coaching teams.
- Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
