Account Manager
Speedy Hire
Provider of tools, specialist equipment hire and services to construction, infrastructure and industrial markets.
Managing and growing a regional portfolio of customers across a defined geographical area, focusing on driving revenue growth and building strong client relationships.
Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support strategy.
Champion the use of digital platforms, including social media and video tools, to promote services and products.

Proven experience in sales/account management, preferably in construction, hire, or engineering-related industries.
Competence using CRM systems and lead generation tools (e.g. Barbour ABI).
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage pricing and contract negotiations.
Self-motivated, proactive, and confident operating at all levels within a customer’s business.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative sales approach.
Ability to adapt to change and contribute to digital transformation efforts.
A team player mindset with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
Sound knowledge of the construction site environment and sector dynamics.
A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally.
