The Role

Tasks

-Prepare accurate and economic costing of tenders/budgets and assessment of risks including competition/market trends; -Contribute to the tender commercial strategy and execution plan as directed; -Ensure all tenders they have responsibility for are quality controlled and fully validated by the Functions; -Participate in the negotiation phase, when nominated, for terms and conditions of tenders with Customers and Suppliers to achieve the best commercial position with minimum exposure to risk; -Provide support towards Sales & Marketing business partnering, knowledge and expertise; -Support the monitoring of bid performance against Subsea 7's commercial targets; -Provide support and guidance to more junior members of the tendering department. -Participate in all necessary tender technical, risk and HSEQ reviews, as well as record and complete all functional validations; -Ensure all tenders are quality controlled and fully validated by the Functions; -Operate within standardised Sales & Marketing policies, processes and systems; -Ensure Sales & Marketing capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently; and -Preparation of tenders/estimates in a structured approach, providing specialist non-technical tendering expertise and coordinating all aspects of the tender in accordance with Subsea 7 processes and client requirements;

What You Bring

-Ability to self-manage -5+ years of experience across Commercial, Operations, Engineering or Fabrication within the oil and gas industry -Working knowledge of the tendering software Success Estimator and EcoSys is highly desirable. -Experience working within an EPCI environment. -Good level of commercial acumen, excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. -Previous experience in the subsea sector of the oil and gas industry, AsiaPac oil & gas experience desirable -General Education: Degree qualified (ideally in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Marketing) or similar. -Relevant previous experience in a similar environment
