• Review and redline design packages to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent.
• Deliver high-quality, creative, and technically robust design solutions.
• Ensure all documentation meets building code and project requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Mentor and supervise intermediate and junior designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing studio culture.
• Present design concepts and materials confidently to clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Represent the design studio professionally at client presentations and industry events.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, maintaining oversight of budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Support the studio’s collaborative culture and contribute to its continued design excellence.
• Conduct site visits, perform construction administration tasks, and resolve design challenges as they arise.
• Support new business efforts and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
• Contribute to studio-wide initiatives that promote design innovation, efficiency, and collaboration.
• Oversee FF&E design, selection, and coordination, including custom furniture and lighting.
• Monitor project scope, hours, and profitability, and assist in preparing fee proposals when required.
• Develop and coordinate detailed design documentation including drawings, specifications, and material schedules.
• Provide design direction and oversee concept development, space planning, and presentation deliverables.
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, design rigor, and attention to detail.
• Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring creative excellence and alignment with client expectations.

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Interior Designer to lead and deliver exceptional Hospitality and Lifestyle projects from concept through completion.

• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to guide and inspire design teams.
• Strong technical expertise in FF&E, joinery, detailing, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• 8+ years’ experience in Interior Design, ideally within the hospitality, hotel, or restaurant sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), SketchUp, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept through completion.
• NCIDQ certification, LEED accreditation, or architectural license are advantageous.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be proactive, adaptable, and solutions-driven within a fast-paced studio environment.
• Familiarity with U.S. building codes and design standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture (advanced degrees or certifications are a plus).

Benefits

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 (DOE)
