Senior Project Manager

Description

You will play a key role in managing the successful delivery of High Voltage (HV) Substations, Transmission Lines and associated energy project such as Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), overseeing the entire project lifecycle — from design through to commissioning and handover.

• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of major HV energy projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, construction, and commissioning personnel.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Oversee project planning, engineering coordination, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice project delivery processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in line with company and client requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in managing projects within the energy, utilities, or renewables sector.
• Sound contractual and commercial acumen, including knowledge of major contract forms
• Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks, from engineering design through to construction and commissioning.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-million-dollar projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and fostering a collaborative, safety-focused culture.
