The Payroll Specialist delivers the highest level of quality service to employees, ensuring prompt resolution of routine payroll‑related inquiries that range from general to moderate complexity. This role requires limited research to resolve issues and serves as a primary point of contact for internal customers.
Key responsibilities include providing professional customer service, responding quickly to payroll questions with first‑call resolution, and accurately logging all calls to enable tracking of inquiries and outcomes. The specialist analyzes request details, investigates causes, and implements effective solutions while also handling any other job‑related duties as needed.
Qualified candidates have experience in high‑volume customer‑service environments and at least one year of payroll experience. Required skills include intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work in a fast‑paced setting with strict deadlines; Workday experience is preferred.
