  • Minimum 5 years experience working in a senior HSE leadership role, ideally within the mining industry

  • High level awareness and understanding of injury management processes and workers compensation legislation
  • Ability to prepare HSE reports & other documentation for management
  • Cert IV in Training & Assessing
  • Experience with coordinating risk assessment workshops to ensure project and risk alignment
  • Ability to lead incident reporting and evidence gathering
  • Ability to establish a company culture of safety first
  • Strong understanding and application of legislative and regulatory requirements (Mining)
  • Ability to ensure team review compliance of day-to-day tasks ensuring alignment with activity risk assessment
  • Attention to detail
  • Current C Class driver’s licence
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and build effective relationships at all levels
  • Experience with mobile plant operations in a construction and operational environment
  • Diploma in OHS or equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Track record of developing safety audit standards and safety training programs
