Neighbourhood Officer

• Completing regular inspections of our neighbourhood’s and resolving any estate management issues
• Case management of legal proceedings from preparation of court paperwork, ensuring compliance of pre-action protocols up to and including presenting the case in court as and when required.
• Visits to customer’s homes, inspecting properties and addressing any tenancy-related issues and making appropriate referrals where necessary.
• Working closely with our Anti-social Behaviour Team and partners to resolve issues that impact the community.
• Building and maintaining good landlord / tenant relationships ensuring compliance of both tenants and landlord obligations.
• Management of rent arrears, case management of high-level rent arrears and Court proceedings.

Reporting to a Neighbourhood Team Leader, our Neighbourhood Officers manage a patch of properties to deliver a customer focussed Neighbourhood service to our customers.

• Experience of working in communities
• Good Standard of education and skilled with Microsoft packages
• Knowledge of the full range of Neighbourhood Management Services
• Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work
