Operations Specialists are the first and lasting impression for every guest. They create a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment by modeling warm, human‑centered service, supporting front‑desk operations, and helping maintain a clean and organized facility. They may also assist with gym programs, birthday parties, and special events.
Our culture emphasizes inclusivity, quality, local focus, and growth. Team members are expected to demonstrate these values daily, contributing to a supportive work environment that fosters movement, belonging, and community. The role may require flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and early‑morning shifts, and the ability to stand for up to six hours at a time.
Bouldering Project is more than a climbing gym—it’s a community driven by the belief that climbing, movement, and connection should be accessible to everyone. We serve nine U.S. markets with world‑class climbing, yoga, fitness offerings, and welcoming spaces for climbers of all levels, families, and fitness enthusiasts.
This is a part‑time, hourly position with compensation based on experience and local market benchmarks. Perks include a free Bouldering Project membership for you and a plus‑one, discounts on gear and merchandise, commuter benefits, wellness programs, and eligibility for a 401(k) retirement plan.
We love climbing and movement. This is our project to build the world’s best climbing gyms. Bouldering Project offers climbing, movement, and community for everyone. When you walk through our doors, you’ll feel it. We create fun, inspiring, and inclusive spaces where people come together to connect, grow, and find joy through health, friendship, and purpose. We believe climbing belongs to all of us—and that the power of play brings people together and adds meaning to life. Bouldering Project began in 2011 and now includes 13 gyms across Seattle, Austin, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Brooklyn, Boston, D.C., and Tempe. We continue to grow in new places because we believe Bouldering Projects make communities stronger and lives better.
