- Assist in the development and maintenance of the CSIRT documentation.
- Triage and investigate cyber security cases and alerts from various sources, such as network, endpoint, cloud, and threat intelligence.
- Ensure all security cases follow the appropriate playbook, and evidence is documented in a clear concise manner ensuring escalation takes place where required.
- Research and stay updated on the latest cyber security trends, threats, and best practices.

- Knowledge of the incident response lifecycle and the common threats observed in a CSOC/ CSIRT function.
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of cyber threat landscape and attack vectors.
- Strong team player, with the ability to problem solve, and strong attention to detail.
- Communication skills to explain your technical findings to a variety of audiences, including business stakeholders, officials and non-technical individuals.
- Experience in monitoring security threats in OT (Operational Technology) and Industrial Control Systems.
- Proficiency in relevant cybersecurity tools and technologies.
- This role is working 12 hours shifts providing 24/7 coverage 365 days a year, and an onsite presence in the SOC within Warwick is a requirement for the role. You will need to be flexible and able to commute independently.
- Knowledge of principals of Security monitoring of a variety of operating systems and environments.
- Experience working on security incidents.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Solid cloud and on-premises enterprise security monitoring knowledge.
- Basic understanding of CNI and OT technology, including SCADA, ICS, and PLC systems.
- Proven knowledge of Cyber Security Operations Centre principles.
- Knowledge of principles of incident detection, analysis, and resolution.
