RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors must meet safety system requirements, including RK Orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification, and OSHA 10.
Read and use a tape measure accurately.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
Basic knowledge of weld symbols.
Can weld light metals and medium-complexity components.
Working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
Advanced math skills including trigonometry and geometry.
Certified in 3G and able to obtain 6G certification.
All Welder 1 qualifications plus:
Strong ability in blueprint reading and layout.
Proficient in basic welds meeting quality standards.
Certified in 3G and 6G welding, with SMAW proficiency.
3–5 years of welding and metal processing experience.
Capable of performing advanced-complexity welds.
Intermediate math skills including some geometry and trigonometry.
5+ years of welding, metal processing, and structural fitting experience.
3G certified in welding.
Proficient in FCAW and GMAW across multiple transfer modes.
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
