Senior Accountant

• Routinely provide ad-hoc financial reporting to all Company departments in support of various projects and initiatives
• Provide support for the activities of the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments to ensure the accurate and timely management of all AR and AP aging components including billings, cash receipts application, as well as the weekly processing of the Company Payroll
• Support and assist the Controller with the activities of the Finance-Accounting and Payroll departments to ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial data as well as the dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, monthly budget vs actual reporting budgets
• Provide support and periodic reporting for the ongoing internal audits of various processes to ensure compliance with Company SOP
• Directly manage or provide support for the completion of all internal and external audits and tax compliance
• Assist with providing information requested by the external Certified Public Accounting firm for annual financial statement independent audits and annual federal and state corporate tax returns

• CPA preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• Greater than 4 years' of professional accounting experience
• Public Accounting, Marine, or Construction experience preferred
