Description

Assistant Vice President – MEP Services (AVP) is a PAN‑India role based in Pune, India, overseeing mechanical, electrical and plumbing services across the organization’s facilities.

The AVP will act as a subject‑matter expert for the Repair & Maintenance (R&M) team, applying technical expertise in design, installation, maintenance and problem‑solving for R&M projects delivered under the PMSI framework.

The role reports to the R&M & Consulting Lead for India and collaborates with architects, structural engineers, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.

• Provide technical guidance and quality control as the go‑to specialist for complex R&M issues.
• Ensure designs and installations comply with local and national building codes, safety standards, and coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to resolve MEP design conflicts.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work quality, perform testing and commissioning, and resolve field issues promptly.
• Review project documentation, manuals and vendor reports to ensure proper project closure and oversee consulting assignments in the West region.

Requirements

• Hold a degree or diploma in electrical/mechanical engineering (Master’s or relevant certifications preferred).
• Possess 12–18 years of technical operations experience in facilities or property management, including project execution and monitoring.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of critical systems, high‑availability environments, and regulatory requirements.
• Exhibit excellent vendor management, communication, and stakeholder handling skills.
• Proven ability to manage large, multi‑location portfolios.
