Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers, ensuring their growth in technical and professional skills, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
Vision & Development: Contribute to and help shape the evolving QA strategy for Arcadis Digital Intelligence, bringing your vision for modern QA and continuous improvement to the global QA community.
Quality Delivery: Ensure QA activities support the delivery of high-quality software products, with clear focus on customer/user value, traceability, and measurable outcomes.
Leads. Ensure clear, proactive communication within your team and with global stakeholders.
Technical Excellence: Drive the adoption and usage of modern test automation tools and approaches (web is required, mobile is a strong plus). Set high standards for quality, coverage, and maintainability across teams using diverse technology stacks.
Agile & Pragmatic QA: Guide teams in agile ways of working, making pragmatic decisions about what and how to test, and embedding risk-based testing, specification by example, and automation strategies in daily practice.
Collaboration & Communication: Act as a connector between QA, Developers, Product Owners, UX and other QA

QA Mindset: Deep knowledge of modern, pragmatic QA methodologies (risk-based testing, specification by example, test automation strategy). Able to balance automation, exploratory, and manual testing as needed.
Vision & Innovation: A clear vision for developing QA maturity, able to contribute to global QA strategy and drive innovation within the QA hub.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Agile Experience: Hands-on experience working in agile (Scrum/Kanban) product teams, with a focus on continuous delivery and short feedback loops.
Leadership: Proven experience managing or leading QA/testing teams developing multiple different products, ideally in a distributed or global setting. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop junior engineers.
Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work across time zones as needed (especially with Europe and North America).
Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for web (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, etc.) and preferably mobile (Appium or similar). Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation.
Experience: The candidate has at least 10 years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance, including a minimum of 5 years as a team leader or manager.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to coach junior team members and communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and international stakeholders.
Flexibility & Global Mindset: Adapt to working in a global organization, occasionally supporting teams and stakeholders in different time zones, including the USA West Coast.
