Tasks

-Oversee mechanics lien filings and bonding processes to ensure compliance. -Provide legal support for the negotiation, review, and execution of NDAs, engineering, procurement, and construction agreements, as well as related documents. -Collaborate with the Operations team to prepare notice letters, lien waivers, and estoppels. -Perform departmental administrative tasks, including processing invoices, managing mail, and maintaining the legal request ticketing system. -Act as a liaison between the Legal Department, internal business units, clients, and external stakeholders. -Assist with corporate governance matters, including entity formation, maintenance, and preparation of operating agreements, resolutions, and corporate certificates. -Manage electronic document organization and ensure accurate filing and accessibility of legal records. -Support claims and litigation management, including coordination with outside counsel.

What You Bring

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels. -Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience, ideally in the renewable energy or construction industry. -Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and discretion. -Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to construction law, including mechanics liens and bonding requirements. -Strong interpersonal and client service orientation. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel). -Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field, or Paralegal certificate preferred. -Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
