Leadership of technical safety within the function, including mastering of regulations such as CDM requirements, and industry best practice such as safe by design and health by design (prevention through engineering design).
Cascading of business communications through the team
Maintaining an up to date understanding of market drivers, developments in discipline and key innovations in discipline.
Ensuring that technically sound solutions are produced, including all associated reporting and cost estimating, to programme and within budget
Identifying multi-discipline opportunities to be followed in collaboration with other infrastructure/systems disciplines and in collaboration with the consultancy business
Development and recruitment of skills in line with the growth needs and the future and immediate pipeline of opportunities.
Working in collaboration with Market Directors and PMO teams to identify resources required to deliver bids and projectsDelivery of project work to agreed programme, budget and safety and quality specifications
Maintaining a competence framework for the discipline as part of a wider SYSTRA Ltd competence matrix

Thorough knowledge of a diverse range of environmental issues
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Relevant post-graduate experience (ideally within a consultancy environment).
Whilst this may be limited as the team in Ireland grows there will be a future requirement to act as environment lead, demonstrating visible leadership of staff and fulfil the following:
Proven track record of developing and upskilling internal teams
Demonstrable experience in EIA delivery
Familiarity with other consenting processes
Strong report writing, verbal and presentation skills and able to review the work of others to ensure quality.
Relevant environmental / planning degree or equivalent experience, Chartered
Experience of leadership within multidisciplinary teams.
Evidence of successfully driving business growth
Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise.
