The opportunity is to join a team shaping the world’s infrastructure, energy systems, and communities. As a Technical Director of Environmental Impact Assessment you will lead a portfolio of EIAs across sectors such as nuclear power, electricity transmission, renewable energy and other infrastructure projects. The role requires guiding regulatory processes, advising clients, and supporting stakeholder engagement, leveraging deep knowledge of Ontario’s Environmental Assessment Act and the federal Impact Assessment Act to deliver sustainable solutions.
- Provide expert-level guidance on Environmental Impact Assessments for multi-disciplinary energy and infrastructure projects.
- Develop regulatory roadmaps, permit plans, and monitoring programs to ensure compliance and sustainability.
- Lead strategic technical reviews and quality assurance for EIAs and supporting documentation.
- Consult with regulators and clients, building strong relationships and innovative engagement with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
- Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposal efforts.
- Mentor junior and intermediate staff to promote growth and knowledge sharing.

- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental studies, planning, science, or engineering.
- Bring 15+ years of experience managing EIAs and navigating regulatory processes in Ontario or Canada.
- Demonstrate ability to manage complex projects and multi‑disciplinary teams while providing guidance and mentorship.
- Possess strong attention to detail, excellent time‑management skills, and familiarity with consulting tools and processes.
- Experience in business development, winning work and proposal writing.
- Deep understanding of Ontario and federal regulatory and permitting processes.

Compensation is competitive, ranging from $143,900 to $211,000 depending on region, with the final salary reflecting education, experience, certifications, seniority, location and business needs.
