The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the full vertical construction process of 7+ projects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and meet all quality, safety, and local regulation requirements. The Superintendent must input all information into the system in real time to maintain an accurate project status.
- Oversee vertical construction for 5‑9 projects from permitting through delivery and warranty.
- Maintain accurate schedules and coordinate trades, deliveries, and inspections to stay on track.
- Ensure contractors meet TJH standards and jurisdictional requirements at every site stage.
- Serve as the company's primary on‑site representative with employees, contractors, buyers, and inspectors.
- Manage contractors: submit changes, inspect work, approve payments, and withhold funds for unsatisfactory work.
- Achieve or exceed cycle‑time goals to keep projects on time and on budget.
- Supervise Assistant Construction Managers, providing training and feedback.
- Maintain a safe work site by enforcing housekeeping, safety regulations, and OSHA/state standards.
- Facilitate weekly safety meetings with staff and trade partners.
- Complete quality checkpoints and deliver daily construction progress updates.
- Read and interpret floor plans and hold contractors accountable to quality standards.
