The BIM and Civil3D Manager will serve as a hands‑on technical specialist, partnering with engineering teams and project managers to provide BIM guidance, develop and refine standards, and ensure high‑quality delivery. This role focuses on creating and maintaining BIM/CAD processes, supporting multidisciplinary coordination, and driving continuous improvement in the NYC office and the broader Northeast region.
- Support engineering teams and Project Managers through all BIM project phases, from setup to archiving.
- Coordinate and execute BIM and Civil3D technology activities.
- Develop templates, workflows, and standardized BIM/Civil3D content libraries.
- Collaborate with Design Leaders to implement BIM Execution Plans and provide multidisciplinary BIM production support.
- Perform clash detection and manage coordination of client BIM deliverables.
- Ensure project delivery complies with established standards, workflows, and quality expectations.
- Provide day‑to‑day BIM and Civil 3D support as workload requires.
- Contribute to BIM standards development for the NYC office and Northeast Infrastructure region.
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain accuracy, consistency, and agency compliance.

- Expert proficiency with Autodesk BIM software (Civil3D, Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud).
- Proficiency with Bentley BIM tools (MicroStation, OpenRoad Designer, OpenBridge Designer); Infoworks and ProjectWise a plus.
- 8+ years of professional experience using Autodesk software in engineering or infrastructure design.
- Strong understanding of project workflows from preliminary design through construction documentation.
- Solid knowledge of BIM and Civil 3D workflows across civil infrastructure disciplines.
- Advanced clash detection expertise using Navisworks Manage.
- Familiarity with NYCDDC CADD standards and other NYC agency BIM/CADD standards (preferred).
- Knowledge of model QA/QC processes and best practices.
- Proficiency with editing and documentation software (Bluebeam, Word, Excel).
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred; degree in AEC or building trades required.
- Excellent organization, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve problems promptly.
- Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities; manage multiple tasks and projects.
