Credit Associate II

Overview

Manage credit extensions, collections, and account relations to minimize bad debt.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Email customer requested invoice copies -Reconcile customer statements/billings -Maintaining records – communication notes and follow-up -Preserving good will of customers -Contacting customers regarding past due balances -Extending credit within company parameters and credit policy -Releasing orders on-hold -Establishing relations – providing a high level of service to the sales team and other internal customers -Determine accounts with potential bad debt to be communicated with Credit Manager and written off with approval -Communicating with sales staff and Credit Manager on issues

What You Bring

-Knowledge of credit and collection terms and concepts, and basic accounting concepts -Positive can-do attitude with a team player mentality -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe) -Well organized and pays attention to details -Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures -3-5 years of experience in the credit and collections field or related area -Experience with ERP Software preferred (especially experience with Oracle)
