What you would be doing

  • Lay concrete, clay & plastic pipes – all sizes - depths varying from 1 meter deep to 5 meter’s deep
  • Ensuring pipes are laid to correct levels on correct bed/surround - tested & backfilled to proper specification
  • Carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing operatives/Foreman with regards to safety working to method

  • The experience of supervising a small team of operatives
  • You will need to able to work, use, and set up Trench Boxes,Benching to all manhole boxes, Drag Boxes, Manhole Boxes,Trench sheets & framing ,Use pipe lasers

  • CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card
  • Full understanding of all aspects and responsibilities of a Drainage/Pipelayer operavtive
  • CSCS Gold card - Occupational Work Supervisor
  • Driving Licence
Benefits
  • Rate of £22.03 per hour - average across 50 hours
  • Rate of £29.77 per hour - final 11 hours
  • Confined Space ticket
  • Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
  • Free PPE
  • Rate of £19.85 per hour - first 39 hours
  • Sunday - Double time
  • Lodge/Accommodation rate of £50.65 this is only paid if you meet the requirements which is to be 50+ Miles from site. (This will be checked using the shortest distance Via AA Route planner. Relevant Documentation must be provided i.e. Proof of Address and Tenancy Agreement, and Booking Receipts)
  • Saturday - First 4 hours’ time & a half – after 4 hours double time
