Warranty Technician

Description

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and warranty policies.
• Provide feedback to construction and quality control teams to help reduce recurring warranty issues.
• Conduct inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Respond to warranty service requests in newly constructed commercial properties (e.g., office buildings, schools, multifamily complexes).
• Represent the company professionally on job sites and during client interactions.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, materials used, and time spent.
• May involve working in mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawlspaces, or other challenging environments.
• Diagnose and repair a variety of post-construction issues.
• Support our controls division when needed.
• Coordinate with property managers, general contractors, and internal teams to schedule and complete repairs.
• Work is performed on-site at newly completed commercial construction projects.

Requirements

OVERVIEW: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warranty Technician to support our Commercial New Construction division. This role is responsible for addressing post-construction issues covered under warranty in newly completed commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of construction trades, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
• EPA Certification
• Experience working on large-scale commercial construction projects.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC Service/Start-up, or warranty service.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Wage Range: $25/Hr. - $35/Hr. (Depending on Experience)
