Groundworker

Description

• Remove debris and perform minor brickwork.
• Provide accurate operational information electronically, complying with legislative and company procedures.
• Ensure plant and equipment are functional, properly maintained, certified, and report any defects.
• Follow safeguarding procedures to protect customers and report concerns.
• Carry out physical tasks in line with Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements

Groundworkers on our team deliver a customer‑focused service. We are looking for candidates with experience in flagging, fencing, drainage and general grounds maintenance.

In addition to technical expertise, we value strong customer service skills. The successful candidate will be an experienced groundworker who can interact positively with residents and colleagues.

The role requires the ability to carry out physical tasks safely, maintain and certify plant and equipment, and follow safeguarding procedures. A full, current driving licence is essential for occasional van use.

Essential qualifications include an NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Groundwork and General Construction qualification or equivalent competency. The position also requires a basic DBS check, which will be funded by The Guinness Partnership.

• Dispose of waste materials correctly.
• Hold a full current driving licence to operate company vans.
• Demonstrate experience in flagging, fencing, drainage, and general grounds maintenance.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills.
• Possess NVQ Level 2 (City & Guilds) Groundwork and General Construction qualification or equivalent.
• Undergo a basic DBS check paid by the employer.
