Quality Control Specialists

Description

• Verify conformance to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and documentation of inspected items.
• Liaison: Communicate quality findings and issues with quality engineering for disposition and escalation.
• Inspect incoming boards, and materials, after pack-out to ensure no nonconforming material is introduced into the coating process.
• Perform regular checks, inspections and audits on incoming PCBAs, In-process and finished conformal coated PBCAs, ensuring all boards meet the customers and IPC-610 acceptability standards.
• Visually inspect workmanship using visual inspection, measuring tools, and inspection aids as applicable.
• Documentation: Accurately record inspection results.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards for electronics.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good record keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, in fast paced environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• IPC-830A Conformal Coating
• Certified Quality Inspector or 5+ years of experience working with PCBAs
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, particularly with conformal coating.
