

Support a smooth handoff to project management and operations
Review drawings, specifications and subcontractor proposals
Develop bid strategies, packages and procurement plans
Manage the full preconstruction process from early design through GMP
Lead conceptual and detailed estimating for commercial projects
Collaborate with clients, architects and internal teams throughout design
Oversee quantity take-offs, scope reviews and cost analyses
Provide value engineering options and cost-saving strategies
As the Preconstruction Manager, you will take ownership of all preconstruction activities, working closely with owners, design teams, estimators and project managers to develop accurate budgets, schedules and project plans.
Prepare project schedules, logistics plans and risk assessments
Strong budgeting, scheduling and cost modeling skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Strong understanding of commercial construction (healthcare, education, corporate, industrial, mixed-use, etc.)

We are representing a well-established and growing Commercial General Contractor in Lancaster, PA, seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead early project planning and drive successful outcomes from concept through GMP.
Experience Required
Proficiency with preconstruction software (On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Sage, Procore, etc.)
7+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction with a commercial GC
Ability to lead meetings, communicate with clients and mentor junior staff
Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 + Bonus + Benefits
