  • Engineer detailed submittal and production drawings using Autodesk Inventor
  • Occasionally visit the shop floor to troubleshoot issues and proactively support production.
  • Translate design intent into manufacturable solutions that minimize waste and rework.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with leadership and cross-functional departments.
  • Review and optimize processes for manufacturability, efficiency, and quality improvement.
  • Assist in developing and mentoring other engineers and drafters—helping to elevate the team’s Inventor proficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency from concept through fabrication.

This position is ideal for an experienced Engineer who wants to make an immediate impact on a team transitioning to the next level of technical sophistication. You’ll work on a mix of custom millwork projects using Autodesk Inventor and casework engineered in Microvellum. The company is also expanding its metal fabrication capabilities, offering diverse challenges for someone with multi-material experience.

  • Proven problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and a mindset for efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (required) and Microvellum (strong plus).
  • Background in custom metal fabrication a strong plus.
  • Vision/Dental – Available
  • Working knowledge of diverse materials such as wood, glass, metal, laminate, solid surface, and upholstery.
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural millwork, casework, or custom fixture engineering.
  • Familiarity with Solid-CIM 3D / Router-CIM and CNC programming processes.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance speed, accuracy, and collaboration.
