The program spans many disciplines across H2M’s locations, including architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, water resources, and environmental services, providing exposure to a broad range of engineering and design work.
The firm offers a summer internship in the Electrical Engineering Department that runs from June 1 to August 7. Interns work on real projects, conduct site visits, attend client meetings, and receive professional‑development workshops such as resume writing, interview skills, and presentation training.
Interns may work part‑time or full‑time in‑person, earn an hourly wage of $18–$23, and are required to deliver a final presentation summarizing their contributions and learning. The internship is open to undergraduate or graduate students actively enrolled in a related program.
