Assist with the delivery of communities to the company’s sales and construction departments in accordance with business plan and operational excellence expectations.
Ensure permitting and field support are optimized for each community.
Coordinate proactive solutions and action plans with land development staff to ensure jobsites are developed ahead of or on schedule.
Coordinate with development field staff, contractors and entitlement staff on value engineering scopes of work during bidding process.
Coordinate with and assist field staff to complete development plan take-offs and development budget generation.
Ensure timely completion of land development activities and successful opening of community and receipt of permit approval by all agencies having jurisdiction.
Responsible for procurement and timely release of financial assurances, permitting, and regulatory compliance of land development jobs.

At least 3 years of homebuilding experience is preferred.
Ability to adapt, multi-task and prioritize without compromising quality of work or project deadlines.
Creatively problem solve field issues with consultant and management as needed.
Employees in the position are required to be able to hear and have sufficient vision to utilize all office equipment.
Experience managing and training support staff.
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Spanish language skills are helpful.
At least 5 years of residential land development experience.
Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard office equipment.
Experience within the construction industry including construction cost, materials, products, methods, trades, and equipment.
Experience working with trades, crafts and equipment needed to complete the job.
Experience using Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, MS Project and ability to learn new software.
