The technician performs inspections, reverse‑engineering measurements, and other dimensional assessments, supplying critical data to manufacturing and engineering teams while interacting with external suppliers on quality issues.
The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six years of quality or inspection experience in a manufacturing setting. Candidates must be proficient with Windows‑based computers and Microsoft Office applications, and be able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred candidates have hands‑on experience with 3D‑CAD measurement tools and a variety of metrology equipment, solid knowledge of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes, and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T symbols. Strong teamwork, self‑motivation, reliability, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic are also valued.
