Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
Equipment Operation- Proficiency in operating large loaders with ability to accurately and smoothly maneuver and complete various tasks, such as loading, dumping, and transporting materials. Skill in handling attachments and understanding their applications.

2 (two) to 4 (four) years of experience operating heavy equipment in a quarry or similar environment.
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
Demonstrates proficiency in operating at least two or more different types of heavy equipment.
Technical Expertise-Solid mechanical understanding of mobile equipment, including basic maintenance checks and troubleshooting minor issues. Ability to identify signs of equipment malfunction, understand and report them to the maintenance team.
Problem Solving- Identify, analyze, and resolve work-related issues efficiently and effectively using practical knowledge, experience, and hands-on skills. Finds practical solutions, implements fixes, and adapts to unexpected challenges.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and MSHA regulations.
Trade school diploma or certificate in equipment operation is highly desired.
Proven experience operating various types of heavy equipment.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
Adaptability- Adapts to new conditions, is flexible and open-minded when facing challenges, and maintains high performance during change.
Physical ability to climb ladders, sit for extended periods, and withstand vibrations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
