Additional duties involve network modeling and analysis, evaluating emerging technologies, assisting with complex troubleshooting, and potentially supervising junior staff.
Guidehouse is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support critical infrastructure and mission systems for the Defense Health Agency. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions while handling documentation, configurations, and scripts for enterprise deployment. The engineer will also contribute to the transition of new technologies between architecture and engineering, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are established.
Candidates must hold one of the IAT II certifications (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GIC SP, G SEC, Security+ CE, SSCP), possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, and have at least six years of network engineering experience. Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance and demonstrate strong client interaction, documentation, and multitasking abilities in a fast‑paced environment. Organizational awareness and political savvy are also required.
Preferred qualifications include experience with the DoD, Military Health System, or government contracting, as well as a master's degree in a related discipline.
