This entry‑level technician role supports the installation, maintenance, and servicing of commercial heating, ventilation, and air‑conditioning systems. The position involves field work on rooftops, preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibration while adhering to strict safety standards. Flexibility to work weekends and overtime is required.
- Perform on‑site preventative maintenance, routine repairs, and calibration of commercial HVAC systems.
- Use technical skills to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
- Collaborate in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow safety protocols daily and work safely at heights and with tools.
- Complete repairs and associated paperwork independently.
- Physical tasks include working on rooftops, ladder climbing, lifting up to 75 lb (shoulder/overhead up to 25 lb), pushing carts up to 150 lb, and manual tandem lifting up to 125 lb.

- Hold a high school diploma or GED; HVAC trade school graduate preferred (3.5 GPA, excellent attendance).
- Minimum 1 year mechanical support experience; hands‑on HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA Type I & II (or Universal) certification required; NATE certification a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 90 lb, and handle equipment loads.
- Strong customer service, electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Self‑motivated, able to self‑schedule and work with minimal supervision.
- Availability for occasional weekend/night work and willingness to relocate after training.

The hourly, non‑exempt position offers an annual salary range of $36,000 to $45,000, dependent on geography, experience, and performance. Employees are eligible for overtime pay but not a bonus.
