Key duties include managing the site control room as an information hub, using telemetry systems such as IRIS and SCADA to monitor performance, and working with operational technicians to resolve site challenges. The technician also prepares and authorises permits, conducts site inductions, reviews and approves RAMS, and audits contractor activities.
Candidates need experience in a fast‑paced mechanical, electrical or process‑improvement environment, strong resilience to manage conflicting site priorities, and an excellent understanding of health and safety. Knowledge of WRC/STC processes and permitting is essential, with IOSH, SMSTS or CDM experience desirable, plus good communication skills and a full UK driving licence.
