Tasks

-Assist in the coordination of consultants -Develop and prepare Contract Documents (CD) and specifications -Assist in the performance of Quality Control procedures -Assist the Contract Administrator -Assist in the printing, assembly, circulation, and filing of project documents -Develop and prepare Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications -Prepare graphics and presentation drawings -Research and compile construction materials -Assist in performing code and bylaw analysis -Take mentorship and guidance from more experienced production team members -Assist the Job Captain with general DD and CD duties

What You Bring

We have an exciting opportunity in our Vancouver office for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist. Using your Revit skills, you will work under the supervision of the Job Captain or Project Manager, perform a variety of production tasks to prepare documents needed to take a building from original concept to completion. Contribute toward the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages through coordination with team members and consultants. -A minimum of five years of experience as an architectural technologist -Fluency with Revit -A solid understanding of current building systems, materials, and building codes -Experience working on projects in a variety of sectors – High-Rise Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Senior Living -An Architectural Technology Diploma or Architecture Degree -Motivation, great organizational skills -Proficiency in construction documentation, including envelope detailing
