Overview

Manage construction project docs, compliance, and daily site activities

Tasks

-Create, verify, and process change orders -Identify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists and maintain until corrected -Develop record documentation for engineer review/acceptance -Set up and maintain construction project files -Monitor and enforce labor compliance -Receive, review, interpret Daily Reporting -Work under general supervision of the Resident Engineer -Conduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systems -Maintain accurate daily records of the contractor's daily activities and the work performed, and of the labor, equipment and materials used -Attend and participate in construction progress meetings -Maintain labor compliance requirements -Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documents -Assist with project audit/closeout

What You Bring

-Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents -A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects -Must be able to work in a team environment -Ability to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineer -Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills -Ability to interpret construction schedules -Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction -Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification -Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages -Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
