The Territory Executive is responsible for identifying leads, prospecting, and selling new, profitable business within an assigned non‑metropolitan market. The role requires selling the full suite of Republic Services products, including small and large containers for municipal solid waste, recycling, electronic and universal recycling. Regular meetings with new and existing clients are used to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers, and provide total waste‑stream management solutions.
The Executive acquires commercial, industrial and recycling customers to meet and exceed monthly revenue targets while retaining existing accounts through long‑term relationship building. Leads from Lead Generators are followed up within two hours, tasks are logged in Salesforce, and contractual re‑signs are performed to extend profitability. Daily activities include cold‑calling, scheduling appointments, delivering presentations, and documenting all interactions in Salesforce. The role also monitors market trends, offers additional services, manages customer emails, and ensures timely completion of agreements and reports.
Applicants must have at least five years of relevant sales experience, including two years of direct customer‑facing selling, and experience in the waste or service industry.
