Description

Mechanics are expected to perform Class I, II, and III tasks, interpreting specification sheets and blueprints to select and assemble the correct parts. Duties include installing windows, hardware, gauges, and wiring units, as well as using rivet guns, air guns, welding equipment, and other hand tools. Additional responsibilities involve soldering copper pipe, completing required paperwork, and assisting teammates as needed.

• Perform Class I, II, and III electrical mechanic jobs.
• Interpret specification sheets and blueprints to select correct components.

• Utilize rivet guns, air guns, welding equipment, and other hand tools.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong English reading, writing, and communication skills. Basic math abilities, common‑sense reasoning, and elementary computer proficiency are required. Physical capabilities include standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 10 lb regularly (occasionally up to 50 lb), with appropriate vision for close and distance work.

The work environment is on‑site with moderate noise levels and regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Employees must adhere to safety standards while performing tasks that involve handling tools, climbing, and occasional stooping or crawling. Participation in high‑performance team activities is mandatory.
