  • Perform hydraulic and hydrologic engineering design services.
  • Attend client and public meetings related to projects.
  • Analyze drainage and flooding problems and consider alternatives to mitigate those problems.

  • Travel to project sites and perform field work to obtain data for projects.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing analyses and results.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Biosystems, or Environmental Engineering.
  • The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains associated with site visits and other project related activities.
  • Experience in HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS modeling software
  • A basic knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering.
  • Excellent organizational and communications skills.
  • Experience in GIS software, ArcPRO
  • Bridge hydraulics
  • Open-channel hydraulics
  • A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to work at a variety of locations.
  • Certified as an Engineer in Training (EIT) having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
