Perform part and product flow analysis
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Analyze shop needs; recommend process efficiency methods
Produce cycle times and sequences of operation
Generate reports, visualizations, and recommendations for leadership decision-making.
Conduct “what-if” analyses to assess the impact of design changes, resource allocation, or production scenarios.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects, reducing cycle times, eliminating bottlenecks, and enhancing throughput.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure process feasibility and scalability.
Experience in Industry 4.0 applications.
3D Modeling software experience; Siemens NX/Sketchup
Programming/scripting knowledge (Python, VBA, C++, etc.) for simulation automation.
Understanding of controls hardware and software best practices
Prior exposure to DoD, FAA, or EASA regulatory environments preferred
Expert ability to craft clear communications
The ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance
Excellent judgment and professional maturity
Complex manufacturing process understanding
This is an on-site position, meaning much of this role will require working out of our customers' facilities located in Lansing, Michigan.
Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years experience in System Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or Related Discipline
The ideal candidate will have a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. A passion for quality standards and quality product output is essential and job duties may include technical reviews, designing new tools or systems, interpreting data, or researching the science of manufacturing to better processes/accuracy.
Experience with integrated systems engineering utilizing a broad range of products manufactured by the automated system

Experience in digital twin development and Industry 4.0 applications
Project management or leadership experience in simulation-driven initiatives.
Experience troubleshooting different component OEM’s and applications
Extensive experience with Siemens Process Simulate software
Candidate should be self-starter and able to work with minimal direction
US Citizen due to program requirements
Understanding of safety protocol and best practices as related to automation.
