Perform a variety of job duties such as welding, work from shop drawings, sketches and other information.
Perform other related duties as required and directed by leadership to manufacture concrete products
Make inspections and periodic checks of equipment to detect mechanical difficulties; maintain necessary service records as required
Train and mentor new team members
Observe, understand and apply all administration and safety precautions, rules and procedures throughout the plant
Maintain work area in a clean, organized and safe manner
Operate a forklift
Operate production equipment and material handling equipment and align machines
Requirements

1 plus years of experience working in a Concrete Plant
Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication)
Understand operation and maintenance of equipment and related processing equipment
Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure
Must be able to use extreme caution when working around cranes, trucks, forklifts and other equipment
